FAQs

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a gentle holistic hands-on approach to overall health and well-being. The practitioner is
working on any imbalances in the body, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, neurological, craniosacral (head
and tailbone) and visceral (inner organs) in a gentle manner. Removing imbalances especially in the spine
and where the head meets the spine the body can then go back to it’s focus on the optimal function. It is
also activating the bodies self-healing mechanism.

What is Craniosacral therapy?

Craniosacral therapy is a deep relaxation treatment that activates the self-healing mechanism. While most
patients fall asleep the mind can relax and then the body can totally focus on healing itself. It also
activates the digestive and the lymphatic system. It helps regulate the craniosacral rhythm (production and
absorption of the cerebrospinal fluid in skull and around spinal cord).

Especially nowadays with our fast paced world and stress in so many areas in our lives it is even more
important for a good health and overall well-being to have a good body-mind connection.

What can it be helpful for?

Ease or even eliminate pain in any part of the body, not just in the muscles, joints, tendonts, also in the
digestive system. It can be helpful with headaches, migraines, after concussions, dizziness, neck
stiffness/problems such as tension or pain, any misalignment in the spine + the whole body, tennis elbow,

carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, fibromyalgia, Mb. Crohn, Asthma, lower back problems/stiffness, SI-
